Below are pictures of my backgrounds that use natural objects. These are a small portion of a photograph that I have taken. I crop the photo and process it to make the symmetrical image. This allows the images to join seamlessly to produce a unified background. Many of these are very beautiful, and all are unique. It is amazing to see the design of some of these images when used as a page background.
Click on the picture to see a sample page using the thumbnail as the background image. Many of them are much more impressive when viewed on a simulated page. I present a horizontal and a vertical view of each image because the effect on the actual page can be strikingly different. I have added the original picture from which I took the small piece used to make the background image.
